Huawei Mate XS
The Huawei Mate XS is a foldable smartphone released by Huawei in February 2020. It features an 8-inch OLED display that can be folded in half to become more compact and portable. The screen has a resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels when unfolded and 2480 x 892 pixels when folded.
The device is powered by Huawei's Kirin 990 5G chipset and comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It has a quad-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 40-megapixel main sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 3D depth sensor. The front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel sensor that is located on the folded screen.
The Huawei Mate XS runs on Android 10 with EMUI 10.0.1 on top and is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 55W fast charging. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security. However, due to the ongoing restrictions on Huawei by the US government, the device does not come with Google Mobile Services, which means it does not have access to the Google Play Store or Google apps like Gmail, Google Maps, and YouTube. Instead, it uses Huawei's own AppGallery and other third-party app stores.
